MLM Direct Sales Sites
If they've got a downline, you can provide them with a website that works much better than a company site.
Company sites are just glorified affiliate links - search engines don't index the distributor sites at all. And company sites just NEVER do a good job of actually SELLING the product or system. That happens better on a personal, friendly site.
A semi-replicated site is a great answer. It can be very low cost, but covers the basics that are required by the distributorship needs. It can be a brochure site, a membership site, or a shopping cart. Give them customized design - a unique look. And give them the ability and help they need to create unique content to add to the site. The two factors they REALLY want, are their own personality into the site design, and the ability to index with the search engines.
There are some great things about finding a niche in this market...
When you sell to people who sponsor other people, they naturally refer you. Just create your system, add an affiliate program, and away you go! Once you've got a client or two, the word spreads and the orders come in more easily than they do with any other target market.
There are some keys to making it work. We know a lot of tricks, which we share with WildFire DSI owners. But here are a couple of tips:
- Choose the parent company carefully. Make sure it has high integrity and is going to be around a while.
- Investigate their requirements for distributor owned websites. Some are so restrictive you can't do this at all.
- Choose one where the distributors are willing to invest. They are not all created equal.
When you find one, there are other tricks to getting it to work well, and to making the site function well. This is a market that is just great to get a foothold in, because it grows, and so do you.
It leads to other kinds of sales too - Team Training Websites, Turnkey Websites, and more.
When we wake up to find an order for a website that has been purchased while we slept, and we have never even talked to the buyer before the purchase, it is always from this kind of sale. We put in a lot of work to get it going, but it sure is worth it!
